    Sorry there was no saving him Lori. Had such nice coloring. I found my first Spotted Turtle last week and it was in the same condition, so I ended its suffering there and then.

    Sid, I gotta tell you, I was waiting to hear from you... I had this sinking feeling that you'd find this thread and tell me he COULD have been saved... I figured you would have come across this before!! I rarely have found them hit and alive... Usually they are dead when I find them. So, it reassures me again that you agree he was better put down.
