Just a couple of cool things... Sanibel, the female Florida blue, ate a quail chick yesterday. :-) That girl eats anything I put in her bowl!! I love that she takes such a variety. She's never turned down anything I've offered her, except the chihuahua... LOL... just kidding!!

Also, the Chinese water dragon from the pound ate for the first time today!! Phew. He ate two of those huge mealworms out of my hand. It's a start. He's been a challenge, for sure.

I finally have a beetle in my mealworm colony, too-- it's been fascinating watching them morph into a new form. Ain't nature amazing?? So hopefully soon they'll be making me new mealworms.

It's the little things that keep me happy.... :-)

That's great Lori. The water dragon "Ling Ling" (jut had to toss that out there..) Glad he ate.

Chinese water dragons are so cool, I've wanted one for a long time.

    Re: Lori's snakes and such

It was such a gorgeous day here, and my mom brought my little nephew over to visit. :-) He's 2 1/2. I had to share some pics of him, even tho they aren't snake related... he's just such a cutie pie, and I love watching my animals react to him. You have to let me indulge, he's the only kid in our family!!!

My sis has never once cut his hair... look at those curls!!!!!!

Gertie was SO fascinated with him!

And Zach is crazy about the turkeys.

Zephyr couldn't figure out what the heck he was!

    Emma was mortified...

And Chase, my 35 yr old, who is everyone's guardian watched over him like a hawk!! And that's my mom. :-)

Awww, he's a sweet little guy, Lori. He must have a blast visiting at your place. Looks like he really enjoys all the animals.
