I doubt it's actually a single gene as much as it is just a naturally occuring variant of similis. Just like the stripeless easterns we have up here!

I see. A pair of stripe-less ones, then, could parent all striped babies, etc., or not, or just at random, or in some odd pattern?

I've got lots of babies to take pics of but i may wait another week or so to get some size to them first and then post pics. All of my babies are eating everyday right now. I have about 76 babies and still waiting on one more to drop.

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.

realizing that people have their own methods of bringing up their snakes, i noted your comment on the seventy plus babies and would like to know what you feed your scrubs as it is obviously the way to go, i'm asking as i'm back in the baby game after a lot of years and would dearly love to bring through as many as possible from my litter of twenty
    I'm not actually a gynecologist...but i'll take a look.
