    The babies just keep coming.
Not the greatest of success though. 8 born: 1-stillborn, 2-deformed(had to be put down), 4- normal.
Blessed to have the 4 normals. They are welcome here at the Ranch.

The two that were put-down had severe problems. 1 had an open G.I. track and the other's body had formed together and couldn't uncoil. Both were alert, which made it even harder to put them down.

That's awful! Can't imagine how tough that must have been.

Re: T.s.parietalis babies on the Ranch

I had a strange delivery to the Ranch tonight. I found a pop bottle out on the front steps. The lid was on and inside was a baby T.s.p(red-sided) and a baby Dekayi. Both of course are welcome on the Ranch. I've had them dropped off in boxes and paper bags, heck I even had one left in a tied up sock. This is a first and hopefully the last pop bottle. I guess thing could have ended much worse for the snakes if the person had wanted to harm them.

    How about Nehi and Pepsi?
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

There must be something in the water here on the Ranch. Not only the radixes grow big but so do the T.s.parietalis(red-sided). My largest one, JW(female) is 40 inches and 255 grams. She has a nice attitude. She downs adult mice without any trouble. She is going to be my first T.s.p. breeder next Spring. With her size I hope she'll put out some high baby numbers.
