    I did make the meeting, guy in Hawaiian shirt, didnt get a chance to introduce myself.

    Oh, and any sort of life table requires a HUGE dataset. I dont know if you are familiar with his work, but Justin Congdon spent thirty years getting all the necessary data with Blandings turtles, three generations of turtles, over 30000 recaptures...
