    Now this pic is very helpful TY.

    There can be a real big difference between the two. The dark blue underside is ... always there?

    I'm seeing allot of the fitchi with this blue trait.

    My male puget has a light blue underside, and the female is darker overall, including the underside.

    at the belly scales... they stick up the sides just a little, and you simply don't count those ones.
