Thanks, I'm generally not a fan of Albino morphs but I just love the Albino SD Gophers.

Wow! Those are nice red spots!
I also really like that gohper! I don't love albino snakes, some I do, some I don't. I currently don't own a single one. But I probably will someday. Your gopher is a nice one!

    Re: My Concinnus pair!

Well I had my first garter feeding experience last night. What a hilarious even that was. Having not kept Garters since I was a very young child and that was just wild ones that I would keep for a few days.
Anyway after reading all the "issues" people have feeding pinkes to Garters that are not accustom to it I was a bit concerned with these two. However my concern was thwarted last night when I offered the male first a small piece of chopped up pinky. He smelled it and took it right away. Great right! Then I went onto feed the female with the same results. So far all things going well.
This is when things got interesting, the female was still holding onto her first piece when the male had finished his. So what does he do, go right over to the female and lunges at her mouth grabbing the piece she is trying to get down. After a few seconds of battling them apart I was able to get the female free as the male was not letting go of what he was trying to steal. I wish I had my camera out because me holding in each hand the body of a garter and their little mouths latched onto a pinky mid section would have been a very humorous photo. At the time I was just concerned about getting them separated.
Well needless to say I took the female out and finished feeding her in a separate enclosure before putting them back together.

Yikes Jeremy! What a first experience! I have fed my two together at times and it's a constant worry when I do. I separate them now as well. Glad you got them apart! I've heard that running water over them will get them to release, but thankfully have no first hand experience.
