Our Pueblan escaped twice now.. The first time he was way up high on a shelf, coiled up.
He knocked a bottle off the shelf, and I noticed that the bottle was missing, saw it on the floor. Figured that since New York does not have any eartquakes that something else had caused the bottle to fall...
Looked up where it belonged, and there was Oreo looking like Ha! silly human I never thought you would look for me up here!
The second time, well he went inside this chair. Hacked a nice piece of furniture to bits getting him out.

We have a cat, and in the end Oreo means more to me than any chair ever could
besides, snakes are very patient for animals, they can wait a lot longer than us humans can.
I read a thread on this forum once about a snake that got up under a refrigerator, and someone said that they would have flipped the fridge upside down in 10 seconds flat to recover the snake!

lol that was my baby.... dropped him on the floor and he slithered under before i could catch him...... i have a huge fridge..... everyone was telling me to move it but there was NO WAY that was going to happen.......I read a thread on this forum once about a snake that got up under a refrigerator, and someone said that they would have flipped the fridge upside down in 10 seconds flat to recover the snake!
the only other time i lost one... the same snake i found him in a drawer a week later..... turns out he was locked in there for the entire week..... he was quite dehydrated
