    Welcome Peter!

I gave them some feeder minnows today. My wife watched some of them eat while I was @ work Maybe I will seperate the ones that ate in the morning. I think once they eat, I will make everyone come pick out the ones they want. You already got the "Pick of the Litter"

Well, this little guy is looking good- color is really coming in nice.
He has eaten a couple meals of pinkies and one of trout, so far. Cant wait till he's big enough to go in a display tank (I use 1/4" mesh for the lids, so they have to grow a bit first).

Loren, I am jealous as well. My infernalis has a "mean" look to him.

His temperament is sweet as can be, just something about him looks ominous.

    Yours looks darling in comparison

Inferno (The name I chose for mine) has blue stripes, yours looks a little more greenish yellow.

what is the more common coloration? or is that like asking what color a "Normal" sirtalis is

That's a great looking specimen you have there!

    Very nice!
The markings on these are so different than the other Thamnophis species'. Instead of checker patterns, it looks almost like paint-drippings down the sides. Quite dramatic. I like!
