    Lori, it is a Red-bellied snake- Storeria occipitomaculata. Same genus as a Brown Snake. Decided to bring her home at least short term. Already eaten 4 slugs.

    Well, good for her!!! I dreamed last night I found a grey banded kingsnake in my creek. I'm DREAMING about finding snakes. I should get out more... lol I was quite disapointed when I woke up, because he was a very beautiful snake!!

    Good luck with her... she's really cute. Will her belly stay so orange or darken to red (hence the name)??

    I'd be happy to find any snake in the wild - if I could only get to a bit of wild

    Hey Rhea, I´ve tried to find your house on Google earth, but there were so many houses. When all those houses were trees you would be living in a forest.

    @Don
    Can you explain to me :"What is snow?"
