Yeah, the most I ever got when I was in school was a single tarantula kept on the windowsill of my Grade 7 classroom. It was a bit exciting when he escaped and went for a stroll through the school!

All California nonvenomous reptiles & amphibians. It really is a great setup. most of the enclosures are on that side of the room, but there are enclosures on all sides.

The teacher. Some of the school administration do not like him having the herps there. They are always looking for a reason to make him get rid of them. He has to submit to the Board every year a list of what he has in the classroom. He keeps his enclosures cleaner than most pet stores do, it is very impressive
BTW, I am going with him & someone from F&G to collect data on limestone salamanders on Monday up near Yosemite. So I will be gone the whole day
