but the area is also slap bang in the middle of town so i would have thought it would have been more expencive

No, Lulu. The museum is two minutes walk from Longsight, Gorton, Levenshulme. Five hundred yards from The Apollo Theatre. Trust me...it's cheapside!

Howdy and welcome to the forum (yeh, I know I'm a late comer...LOL). That's really cool that you've got those insect cultures. Used to have three different cockroach cultures (Hissers, Orange spotted and Discoids) and some other insect cultures before I had to get rid of them because I became very badly allergic to their droppings.
