    Just a share of fuel and the ferry crossing, I guess. (Plus the vast quantities of cash that will be blown at the venue! )

    and i'm guessing hotel costs too... i cant see anyone would want to do a return journey in 1 day

    do u think there is any fields or anything nearby? might be worth turning it into a camping trip... maybe with some night time herping

    I don't know. You could check it out on Google Earth. As I say, I might camp out in the van....sleeping bag, stove etc. It will be a tiring trip, no doubt, but well worth the effort I think.

    You can't drive through the tunnel, you have to load your car onto a train.
