am so sorry to hear that. just dont let something like this put you off keeping snakes. these things do happen and can't be helped sometimes. you obviously care so much for them and that is a beautiful thing to see.

Sadly little Phoenix died this evening. She was just too weak and even though soaking her body in the water temporarily seemed to revive her a tiny bit, in the end it just wasn't enough.

Cat wounds are often deeper than they appear. You did everything you could... just take some time to recover from the loss, and then start over with a more secure cage!

God, this is like a yo-yo... Guess what? MY SON JUST FOUND ANOTHER BABY!!! And it's perfectly fine. It's also the one I particularly like because it has quite a bit of red along the sides.

Shame poor little Phoenix couldn't have made it aswell and the third baby is still missing, it still hurts, but I do feel a bit happier now.
