My Florida sirtalis is much more feisty than my similis ever have been. It (my sirtalis) is by far the crankiest snake I have had and the other two I got with him weren't much better.

I have noticed that too! My florida easterns have more of an attitude than my similis. I don't think my similis have ever tried to bite me out of aggression! I know people claim similis have nasty attitudes, but i have never seen this in any of my wildcaughts or captives.

I will you the word confident to describe my similis. They will bite but they are confident and calculated about it, my sirtalis on the other hand is a thrasher.
