I was born a raised in NC and yet when I mentioned on another reptile forum a long time back that there were lots of Cottom mouths there I was laughed at and told that there are NO cottom mouths in NC. The first thing any child from NC is taught in the woods are to watch out around large creeks and lakes for them. Especially if you are going swimming. Now I have proof!
