Simply gorgeous! I just love those red radixes. Of course, now I am also biased to radixes...lol. I still love my easterns...but radixes are so wonderful too. Sadie is such a sweet girl and Sammy has the most beautiful coloring!

This male just keeps getting brighter and brighter. He shed tonight so I thought I would post an updated photo.
His guy will hopefully be a breeder in about 1 year.
    Great looking red radix.

Amazing. What did he look like at birth? I'm trying to guess how mine are going to color up... two are already a bit orange but the other has no hint of red at all.

He looked like a normal colored baby scrub. With each shed he gets more red. He does his mother proud.

Cheers Steve. Does it have any advantages over normal aspen shavings? I would imagine the risk of ingestion is less?

Ps I love the curious look your getting in the corner of that photo

I think it does as it is in a ground up state and then formed into pellets. When they get wet they simply fall apart into saw dust like material.
With that being said I did lose a snake to this product. The snake swallowed a pellet made from what I think was a knot in the wood. It didn't fall apart like the other pellets and the snake died from the blockage.
From that tragedy I learned that the dark shinny pellets are the dangerous ones. I see very little of them in the product.
