Your snakes are adorable! I have a couple snakes the spend the majority of their time in the most uncomfortable spot in their cage too! Sometimes I just wish I could ask them.... why?! WHY do you need to scrunch yourselve between the screen top and the tank, or up underneath the waterbowl, or tangled around the door hinges?? Or dangling from the cage lock... LOL I wish I had some pics of that!
My bp's are now approaching 5 months old.... they are a bit bigger than yours but I'll share a pic or two...

well i decided the garter didnt need all that room so i put the garter in the 20 gallion long and my ball python in the 40 gallon TV and look what he did
couldnt find him in his hides.
hrmmm there he is
he seems to really like that spot, thats 1 day after feeding a full grown mouse
