    Congrats on the babies, but sorry to hear about the two with small eyes.

    I have seen tiny and missing eyes in a litter of timber rattlesnakes, an Indian python, and a few other snakes. I do not know the cause for certain, but that sort of thing has been documented in swine as resulting from a mild vitamin A deficiency in the mother. Maybe it's the same cause in snakes.

    All of the similis i keep seem to be docile. I think it depends how much you interact with them so that they learn to trust you. I have 4 wildcaught adults that never try to bite or musk on me. My captive bred babies seem to be docile too. The baby albino fl. Blue easterns have an attitude but i love it when they flatten out and get grumpy it is so cute.

    Here is a pic of the little ones. I couldn't get a good pic of these guys because my batteries were going dead. I can't wait to see how they color up. You can see the lateral
    stripes and already some blue coloring.
