    Just found a local person selling garter babies, sent him a message. Lets see if I can't get him to be a bit more specific about which of the 30+ species he's selling. Didn't mention which part of the country they were in, either.

    I put my money on radix (without a doubt the most common one here), although I have seen a few Florida Blues lately. I just hope it's not a hybrid, but pretty much any species is a species I want at the moment. The only ones I don't need right now, are more vagrans females (unless they're really special) and tetrataenias.

    The price class suggests T. sirtalis or T. radix, no particular morph.

    The situation so far: Black on top, orange dorsal stripe, yellow lateral stripes and 300+ kilometers away (equal to about 30€ in fuel, or 60€ back and forth). I suggested shipping and asked for pictures of the parents, lets see what he thinks.
