Finally finished the book. Should be required reading for everyone old enough to wade through LOTR or HHGTTG.

A bit of a disappointment. The picture to text ratio (by area) is nearly 1:1 and the distribution maps are incomplete.

    Re: what are you reading?

I love my reading so when i drop off my old crime thrillers at the charity shop i normally spend i few pounds buying more
I was quite chuffed with my latest find, its a 1921 Oxford University Press edition of The Complete Works of William Shakespears.
It looks old and well used but it is a beautiful book with a gold pattern on a green cover. The only fault is a bluish stain on the front
Will get around to reading it eventually

Currently reading - "One Flew Over The Cukoo's Nest"
I thought I would give it a try. Really quite enjoyable so far ... nice to have things from the Indian's perspective.
Keeping - 'Florida blue' sirtalis, concinnus, infernalis, parietalis, radix, marcianus and ocellatus.

    Re: what are you reading?

Well I tend to read quite a bit but the book I just finished is quite possibly one of the best Ive ever read. It is a true story and to quote someone else "The astonishing, uplifting story of a real-life Indiana Jones and his remarkable humanitarian campaign in the Taliban's backyard" (I am sure some of you are already familiar with this story)

The book is titled "Three Cups of Tea"
Written by Greg Mortenson (guy who the story is about)
    and David Oliver Relin

In my opinion this book is a must read! Whenever I think about this book a smile comes to my face to know that one can can do so much.

This book is meant to raise awareness and money for the problems in less developed countries than our own. Please read.

    Thank You!

Looks like our public library has a couple copies available. The library just made my to-do list.
    Thanks.
