He has a lot of work to do for his Phd...that work has taken him away from home. It must be hard for him too. Before he went off, I was coming home to 15 or 20 new post every day, now it it 70 or 80....I think he will be surprised how things have moved on!

that is definitely not true
we miss him because of his particular way of being here - and you miss him more because of the additional work
I'm certain that persons who've joined since his absence still feel that special quality of the forum
