*Update*

She is a he. Just never checked until today. He's a handsome lite phase green T.radix.

I thought I would introduce this beautiful lite phase green radix. She is growing up with the B/W.
As you can see she's enjoying a nice night crawler.
She has a wonderful clean pattern and will do well here at the Ranch.

I woke Tank (Chelydra Serpentina-Common Snapping Turtle) up this evening and put him on the scale.
He's broken the 15 lb mark and then some 15.21 lbs.
Looks like 20 lbs by Christmas is well in sight.
Tank got a drink and chowed down on 12 oz. of round steak.
It is a pure pleasure having him as part of the family.

Dang. He got weighed, got a drink, ate his dinner and is back in bed already. 15 minutes tops.
Tank does live the life.

Tank continues to grow and is doing so well socially with everyone he meets. He's never shown any aggression towards anyone.
I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have this type of relationship with such an awesome and misunderstood animal.
He is not on auto pilot. He is a thinking machine and I believe is intelligent.
The second photo is for Mike who is also raising a snapper (Panzer). As you can see Mike there is no mistaking Tank is a male. The cloaca is set very far back from the shell line.
