I'm a bit biased, but millipedes are so much better IMO.
Love both. Sweet vegetarian animals are great, but so are vicious, carnivorous, venemous ones are great too!

Same reason I like venemous snakes.

But I can't find millipedes so I don't have a choice. but I agree millipedes are awesomer pets!!!!

I was telling my boys about Tank. They both said Let's get one! Something tells me Tank is not your typical snapping turtle.

    You couldn't be more right.
As a rule they are very defensive.
Tank is the exception to that rule.
I would love to raise another one but want to devote my energy to Tank.
Of course, Tank wants me to get him a girl friend.

I know have an itsy bitsy spider!

    Micrathena mitrata
    One of these guys:

Real fun watching 'em make the webs, and eat etc. Dunno how long I'll actually keep him, cause I'd rather have a phidippus audax (jumping spider) than these, but I'll hang to him until I get my camera back... He's awesome.

My friend already released the baby she found but now there are three babies available on craigslist! (size of a quarter!) Still very tempting although 3 would be a handful!!! (they are so cute though!!!!)

Shouldn't house them together as they will bite each others tails.
You'll end up with 3 stubby tailed turtles.
Babies are sweet but keep in mind they won't always be small.
Tank has outgrown 2 enclosures already.
He put on 7 lbs in 1 year.

    I released it.

Couldn't find a big enough "home".

Trust me I have my hands full without having snapping turtles too! I just think that Tank is great!!!
