LONDON (Reuters) - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 shook parts of Britain on Wednesday but officials said there were no reports of anyone being killed or serious damage. The quake struck about an hour after midnight and many people in the capital London and other areas said they had been woken up by the tremors. Quakes are uncommon in Britain and Wednesday's was the strongest for nearly quarter of a century.

Molly is in trouble today..... she got up very early this morning and cut off all the cat's whiskers!!! He doesn't seem bothered by the loss, and he's still playing happily with her........ but even so I feigned temper!

Hah!! I did that to my cat when I was little, too............it survived without too much emotional trauma, and I only got a mild scolding.
Apparently they use them to judge whether or not they can fit their bodies through gaps between stuff. So just listen for yowling to tell you kitty got stuck somewhere until the whiskers grow back.
