Don't ask me, Jesse. :P Vita's fine - she's small (33 cm), but heartfull baby. She's active and gained speed. Izy is upset though - I had to steal part of her heat cable (only a little, but temperature dropped in other half of her cage), so she decided to bury herself in substrate. Also, she doesn't want to eat (but she ate solid meal two days ago, so...). I wonder if it's because of lower temperature - or Izy can smell a milk snake and it's bothering her. :P

I've heard of snakes being iffy about other, new snakes in the room.

    I really dig her look!

Oh, and great name! I knew as soon as you said Vita why you name her that (thanks to Playstation lol) it's perfect.

Not to mention that milk snakes tend to eat garters. :P I put Vita's cage on apartment of Izy, so I'm pretty sure she can smell her and vice versa.

That can really up the stress level on both snakes.

Well, I didn't have much choice - the heatcable is too short - and the other one is needed by Amon and Nefri. Girls will have to use to each other, for a while at least.

    Re: Isis' diary.

Izy viciously ate a pinky. She was stabbing it a few times before she ate it (she refused second though and a smelt). She never does that with other stuff - this looks like cobra's strike. I think garters do envenomate their prey like birds or mice before they attempt to swallow it.

PS. Vita ate a pinky too.
