I think it's always funny seeing people both mis-identify snakes, and be complete wimps about them.

For instance the joke:

As you all know, Cobras have rattles... duh, right? Everybody know that

I saw a video where someone, who was a local "snake expert" found this "copperhead", and picked it up and made a fool of himself when... He found out it was a banded water snake.

As for the wimpy part... here's a video I found kind of funny. In 2 parts.

First I'll say this. When you read the description, it'll say "this guy (husband of photographer) has always been scared of snakes. But now is learning to appreciate them and remove, not kill them."
So... kudos to him. Reminds me of my dad. He was the same way when I got into snakes.

I know, and it's a freaking water snake. The baby release was equally pitiful. The way he set him down.
