Sorry to say, your flooding moved East. We are now faced with more flooding from tropical storm Lee, right after Irene. They still don't have power restored in all areas yet.

Everyone in the flood area should get together with people in Texas and put out there fires. theres a large chunk of Texas that they even turned off there water to there homes so they have to even bathe with bottled water. Its crazy that one place has WAY to much water and the other place has basically none. I hope that soon everything works it self out.

Its rainy here but not bad and it has gotten a lot cooler.had to actully close the windows down cause it is getting that time I guess.

I wish everyone luck that is going through all these disasterous things and I wish them luck on saving as much as they can . Hope everything gets better soon.
I wanted to Thank you Steve for your help with the heating pad.

I spoke with on of our Texas members(tminc) yesterday. He said the fires have destroyed home/ranches in his area. His family is safe at this time but it's hard to watch friends loose everything.
Then the floods in the east are destroying everything in its path.
The bad news is more storms are on tap for the East coast.
    Everyone stay safe.

I'm fortunate to report the water has stopped coming in my laundry room.
It's actually dry for the first time in 3 months.
Sump pumps are running less and things are looking better.

Someone from the other site that I go on (not snake related) but anyway a girl I know on there lives in texas ans she lost her family home, her granparents lost there home, some of the friends that live close to her lost there homes and many more were burnt to the foundation. Everyone is ok but they will have to start all over. It saddens me that these thigs happen and theres really nothing that anyone can do to stop it. I hope that it all ends soon.

Im glad to hear that the things are clearing up for you. I live in a 14x70 mobile home so if flooding were to happen here then I guess my home would trully become a "mobile " home. Its scary to think of all these things happening.

Not on the mend. Takes money to do that.
It will be a slow proccess now that I'm retired.
Too many other projects ahead of that one.
