I'll agree to that. Watching the "Suppers Ready" video that this picture is from, well it's not your typical MTV that's for sure.

Mostly metal here, too. Some Finnish band that nobody knows. Profane Omen is the best And opera is great. I mean... Wagner, Verdi, Puccini... I just don't understand people who don't like opera :'DD

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Finnish bands were better known outside of Finland.

Surprised to see anyone that listens to Kreator.

Korn made an outstanding first album (The demo tape is better) then the sound got more refined until Issues came out and I lost interest in buying any more.

The most outstanding metal show I have ever witnessed was Iron Maiden on the powerslave tour in the 80's. That stage was 20 years ahead of it's time.

Queensryche played 5 shows in New York state on the Empire tour, that was fun chasing around to attend all of them

One CD that I play from time to time is Ministry Psalm 69. it sometimes sounds like a transmission disintegrating under a fast moving bus, but it will get your aggressions out... and by the time they get to "Jesus built my hot rod" I am smiling again.

Really about the only stuff that I can't lend an ear to is pop or rap.

Even then, Some of it can be catchy... "if heaven ain't a lot like Detroit, I don't wanna go"

Oh and I'm gonna show my age, but damn those fold open record covers with the incredible artwork were the best, never the same on a 5" square..

And 45's anyone remember buying those?? usually had a neat bonus song on the back side.
