    I'm so excited! I spotted this little fellow a few minutes ago while moving some plants in my "forest garden". ( A small area in my front garden).






    Is this a Smooth Newt, Triturus Vulgaris/ Lissotriton Vulgaris in terrestrial form?

    As it happens, you do have a similar species over there, the Palmate Newt (Lissotriton helveticus).

    Found these little Robins(Turdus migratorius ).
    There was 3 but we found one dead. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Robins. Have raised at least 50 in my life. Very smart and do well in captivity.

    Found this Common Grackle (Quiscalus quiscula) under the same tree as the Robin. 25 foot up is too much for me. Looks like I have another mouth to feed. This is the first one of these that wasn't covered in mites. I usually have to treat them with 7 dust before I can bring them in. Ugly little cuss.
