    Re: The Nature Photography Thread

Last stop was short ( the old man fizzled out too quick). It did produce more finds. A log full of turtles:

    Several of these Fowlers Toads.

The best find was on our way back to the car. A pair of Black Racers mating:

A total 12 snakes- four different species, unknown number of two species of lizards, two species of frogs, and plent of bugs.

All in all the best birthday I've had in a long time.

Great results from the nature walks, everyone!
Hans, I wish I could find a wooded area like that one! Simply breathtaking.......
And Sid, I've already told you how envious I am of all the critters you find!

    Re: The Nature Photography Thread

Thanks for the comments and Anji I do feel very luckly with the diversity here, but the finds do take a lot of hours in the woods, fields and lakes. The photos I posted were of the best day this year. Five hours of work for myself and my sons Jason and Mike.

Thanks for the reactions on my pictures.
@Anji: actually this area is not the nicest area with the "bluebells". I never visited the Haller bos, but I think it must be very beautiful: Hallerbos - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Very nice findings, Sid. Looks like a nice trip
