Defenitly...The last time a C. austriaca was found in the area was in 2002! So we really did not expect to fine one...let alone two!
Besides that, its the rarest and hardest to find species in Holland. An other area where I'm volunteering in monitoring of this species, it requires around 18 hours of searching per snake...www.facebook.com/crazyreptiles
