not this time
the idea of shipping them out again just seemed a bit too much, so I talked both Shannon and myself into a couple more than we had planned on
I am very happy that I am keeping these
once I realized that they were special to my friend, I decided to keep the easterns anyway, but I'd not known that they were so attractive as well
the fitchis were slated to become a science classroom display during the schoolyear, but when I saw them I could not let them go; besides, they are smallish snakes, and I decided to send a pair of more beefy young marcis to the science classroom instead

The Fitchi (Is that species, phase or...?) is amazing! I love him. Your other snakes are pretty too. The "currently non-pissy" female reminds me of a temporary rescue eastern I had for a couple weeks over the summer. (Mine had less red of course ).
Which is more tempting: The fruit of knowledge or the possessed, talking serpent? DUH! - The Serpent!

Is that one melanistic or just different? Are most valley garters that black?
Do you have a thread with pictures of the babies anywhere? I, tragically, don't have space for another garter, but I'd still love look.
