Terry, VERY cool pics!!!! I love possums! I've got one who hangs out in my shed where I feed the farm cats. I've named him Percival. He is such a hoot, sometimes I'll go out there and there'll be cat, cat, cat, possum, cat, cat lined up at the food bowl... LOL!!!

Here's Percival chillin on one of the cat beds!



(He has full ears... not so cold here!) I've managed a quick pet now and then but am very aware of those teeth of his.

That's crazy, Lori!! The only possums I've come across here have been VERY aggressive and hiss and lunge at you. It's cool that you have a semi friendly one that's not ready to eat your face...or your cats for that matter lol

Well, I think he may be too fat and lazy to really care about me. LOL! When I touch him, he will swing his head and hiss, but somehow a hiss with cat chow falling out of your mouth just isn't that scary.

Haha...no that doesn't seem too scary. How do your cats act with him?

They totally accept him! I have some heated houses in the shed for the cats, and he lies in with them. I was wondering if there would ever be baby possums, but so far haven't seen any.
