The sad part is the damage it may have done the the snake extracting the finger afterward.

Youtube is full of morons ABUSING reptiles.

right up there with feeding Iguanas pinkies, walking monitors in public parks, letting the dog fight with a lizard over a plate of food...... ETC..

    this is pretty stupid
but I did take our beardie to Prospect Park before we had a backyard
it was just the only outdoors/real sunlight he could get, because even with the harness the fire escape was more scary, and I'm a fervent believer in the positive effects of real sun and fresh air

    Looking for a lizard

I have been thinking for some time now that we should get a lizrad.I wanted something that my wife can handle since she won't go near either of our snakes!I was hoping for something relativly docile, size isn't a major issue as I can build what ever size enclosure I need!thanks

But Rhea, I'd wager you did not try and shock innocent people in the process.

I'm partial to Monitors, But probably the best choice would be a bearded dragon.

Iguanas are great, but some grow to have nasty tempers and they can be frail.

Monitors can bee sweethearts, or mini crocodiles, it's a gamble what you'll wind up with.
