He goes outside alot?

If he does and spends alot of time, you may not be able to prevent this for now.

My dog went outside on a run and in 10 years never had fleas until that one time. We traced it back to my daughter's room.

He goes out a lot, but not lately. Its been so hot, the last few months he's really not out much.

Lavender oil repels fleas. You put a few drops at the base of the tail, and on the neck. My friend uses that method on her outdoors cat. Works like a charm.

You could also spray a 50/50 mix of apple cider vinegar on your dogs skin. It makes it more acidic, so the fleas wont like it. Apple cider vinegar also makes hair soft, I use it in my own hair as a rinse When it dries, it doesn't smell like vinegar anymore.

Cut a lemon into quarters, cover with boiling water and let it steep overnight. In the morning, spray all over your dog, especially behind the ears and around the head generally (be careful of his eyes), around the base of the tail, and under your dog’s legs.

I'm sure you could actually mic the lavender and vinegar water together, you'd have to shake it before you spray it, but I'm sure that might work. I'm not sure, though.

I don't understand why you're having such a problem. I just use frontline once a month and I could literally bury them in fleas but they won't go anywhere near my dogs.

Frontline dosen't even seem to be working! Maybe they are worse here because of the heat?!

I used frontline this time, and most other times!! Didn't do a thing!
