    Re: Meet Spenser

Welp Spenser is doing well. I fed him an adult mouse on Monday and boy it didnt take long for him to get it lol. Hes been hiding since then and now hes all over his tub now. Looks like hes trying to bust out LOL. Hes a super sweet snake. Hes getting used to me holding him now. Hes not curled up in a ball when I hold him anymore. My kids love him.

LOL I didnt notice the meat adds that I used for his bedding LOL. No wonder he was giving me dirty looks

We went to petco today (just to look, kinda hoping there may be a keelback No luck)

The baby balls were so cute, Dorothy dragged me back out empty handed.

Glad yours is doing so well.

They are very docile for the most part. (rare exceptions excluded)

    not garter related.. my gecko

I was given 2 leopard geckos back in June 2008. One had an issue with her front legs, stuck shed(about 4 months worth), I got it off, & she looks alot better. She is a very good eater, well was... 2 months ago, she stopped eating, & one of her eyes shut closed. I know why did I wait so long.. Well my hubby doesn't care, he is super mad at me, I took Bella to the vet today.

She is on a dewormer & baytril antibiotic. I am alittle upset, that my hubby just wanted me to let her die. He said the money I spent on the vet visit & meds, I could have bought 2 more healthy geckos.

So Bella looks like she is on the road to recovery!! I am an ALL animal lover, no matter what kind it is. On the other Hand, Miss Jenna is doing well.

thanks for listening to me whine,.....

    Stephanie

Stephanie, some people just won't ever understand that lives are not disposable. It's not about replacing them one after the other... it's about being responsible for the ones you've taken on and seeing it out to the end. But whether he'll ever understand that is doubtful!!!

But all is well, you did the right thing and he should appreciate your dedication and compassion!!!
