    Very pretty snake! I could tell she was musking during those pics. The vent slightly open and her twisting around your hand/arm. They love to get the smell all over you when they musk. Congratulations on your new snake!

    Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a female and an eastern ribbon snake. Don't forget they don't eat worms and are hard to convert to mice.

    My Gulf Coast Ribbon will eat fish scented worms. I rub the head area of the worm on a piece of Tilapia. She takes the worms without any problems.
    I do the same thing with pinkies.
    She also takes unscented turkey heart.

    I'm lucky to have her on a good varied diet.
