Pinkies

That's some expensive pinkies, with 1CAD = 0.61GBP. We have on shop locally that sells at 45p/pinky, which I thought was a bit steep, but bearable. We have another shop locally that sells 10 for 2.50GBP. We could get them cheaper online, but its marginal when you factor in postage and far more convenient to collect them locally.
I cant imagine being able to raise mg own snake food as Char used to keep them as pets and wont even watch the pinky feeds.

I saw that guys site and greyhound and air being the only two choices hmm could be very expensive indeed. Whats wrong with guaranteed next day am.. lol.. faster then greyhound. Im thinking im stuck paying $1.21 plus tax at petsmart or $1.25 plus tax at a reptile store in town. im kinda of leaning towards the reptile store cause each pinkie is individually sealed/vaccume packed and at petsmart its 4 packs. I sure wish we had the breeds of garters and ease of getting pinkies up here in the northland like they do stateside.

I can relate chris, my kids would disown me if i raised pinkie mice just to feed to the snakes. After we had our first pig slaughtered, they refused to eat pork for like 6 months. I have a feeling they wont be watching the pinkie butchering..lol... good thing to do when they are at school during the day. That is if i ever see the babies again lol i set them down and off they went, all gone...

They had a hard long trip, in a deli cup with apaper towels biking around for days. Wadja expect?

well lol i was hoping for a miracle lol my kids are not going to believe there are snakes in that tank lol

They do like smaller hides, they like to be touching the walls, but that doesn't matter so much especially if there are two snakes so they can snuggle.

pPETS-3763558t400.jpgI ordered one of these for their hide. It measures 8.5x5.1x3.5. It comes with mossy stuff even.And a coconut hide, and a hay hide to see which they preferred.

Yeah that's fine. Like I said they have each other which replaces the need to go up against the walls.

i guess lifting up the hide every 5 mins to make sure they are okay is out of the question, huh? just kidding lol now the next waiting phaze begins lol
