I still dont have a lid that fits the top. So I still have a 20 gallon lid on a 10 gallon tank but it is sercured down . I tried finding a lid this weekend but it seems that no one what to sell lids cause all I see is tanks...lol that suck I cant find one. Maybe I sould as for a tank lid in the wanted section .

    Re: Prison Break!

It seems like my snakes do that all the time. I thought Speckles got out, I couldn't find him anywhere. I even took everything out and placed everyone elsein a small tupperware container while I looked for him. I dumped all the substrate out and still couldn't find him. When I gave up and started putting everything back, he had his head peeping out of a log like "huh? What's going on? What did I miss?" All the others were looking at me like "Seriously? All this because of a joke Speckles decided to play on mom?? Nice going Speckles! You made her stuff us in a container!"

Ya one of the babies ( I dont remember what one) did that when they were not even a week old. I had a piece of bark in ther and one of the babies curled himself up inside and when I was taking things out to feed them I was counting then and only came up with 6 and I ddnt get to the point of looking but I was confused. When I wen to set the bark down I saw the babie looking out doing the same thing. man they are sneaky....lol

I do head counts a couple times a day. I always find Maria under the aspen in the corner of the tank. One of the babies is like that too. It's always the same spot.

My adult ALWAYS is under aspen. Whether he's in a hide or not, he's also under aspen.

I'd love to do that bedding for my babies (THAT would be cute) but it's too risky the way i feed them.

    Re: Prison Break!

Lol. My baby corns like to scare me by disappearing into the substrate as well. Tore one of the tanks apart frantically searching for the newest addition, and she launched out of where she was and struck at me about five times. Lol. She's kind of crabby.
The smaller of my two baby Easterns appeared to be MIA this morning. He had wedged himself deep inside of a crevice in a piece of log. So, I gently misted him thinking he would be annoyed and come out. That he did, shot right out, striking at the water, striking at me, striking at his big brother... didn't think he was such an angry guy, but he's blue at the moment, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt
