    Imagine a light suddenly come on when you don't expect it. That is what it feels like for them.

    Garter snakes have excellent eyesight, mainly for movement, but sometimes their depth perception isn't all that great. Albinos sometimes have poor eyesight.

    Can you explain Runt's horrible eyesight? She bumps into everything if the enclosure gets changed. She thinks everything is food if it gets into contact with her mouth, too.

    Is Runt blind or just bad eyesight?
    I wanted to Thank you Steve for your help with the heating pad.

    I have 4 Easterns(mine: Furbie and Whiplash; moms: Diamond and Silky) all are 5 and half months old. So much fun gaters are.

    Very bad eyesight. She can see, just has a hard time seeing. She does bump into things, but it seems like she recognizes my hand at least a little bit.

    I think we already established that. A lot people don't see well. I would still say "humans have good eyesight"
