I lost the pictures of my wc melanistic....I took the snake out of the freezer for the picture!!As far as I know this is the only melanistic found in quebec??

I found a melanistic today where I saw my orange garter. In fact a lot of garters out where I find my snakes in my new hot spot are orange! I couldn't catch the melanistic on time it hid in a huge rock wall and I waited almost 3 hours for it to come out and it didn't I'm hoping to do one more trip out there to see if I can find a few more orange babies or adults but I highly doubt there are blood red garters there though.
