Yeah, but I'm starting to think that those suspicions were unfounded.

I'm pretty sure it's radix too. That's what I thought when I saw it. I don't know all that scale-counting-row-five stuff, but I think I know a radix when I see it.

This picture looks just like the snake in the picture.

All the pics do here... mostly.

I don't see how it could be anything else. But what do I know?

If itīs no T.radix, maybe T.sirtalis anectens ?
I would tell leteral stripe is on row 2 and 3 from the last of the linked pictures.
Scale rows count might be a hint!

I suppose annectens is a possibility. However, in those pictures you can only see the stripe close to the head and tail, where scale row counts often don't apply.

I was looking at annectens pictures when I first saw it (as well as elegans variants and eques variants). Pretty sure it's not annectens from what I saw.

it totally looks like a radix to me
the first, overly green pic reminded me of a radix I saw at an expo four years ago I still beat myself up over, because she was amazing and unusual - no pattern, just solid olive green top and sides with a yellow dorsal

I think it's just a radix too. Maybe not exactly typical, but radix.

    Stefan,
Is this snake for sale in your area or was the person just seeking an ID?
