Highly annoying quote, while we're on that subject. It implies that all future applications of a discovery or invention are known to the scientists behind it. And quite frankly, few discoveries couldn't be used to cause harm.

We don't have many species of garters available here in SAfrica, the only one I know of is T. marcianus, T. sirtalis and T. cyrtopsis I heard there use was a couple of blue garters around, but who knows.

Because our import structure is so tight, you have to lick some serious a** to get anything done and it soooooooooooooooooooo damn expensive as well.

Going to put her on the scale quick and see, and tomorrow, that should clear things up a little don't you think?

Put her on the scale now, and then a few weeks later. That should give you an answer.

For example, one of my girls last summer was 175 grams. A month later, she was 225 grams. That confirmed it. She had 20 live, 10 stills.

Just to let you guys know, yes she is gravid and heavy for that matter, her girth is about 3 times larger than the other.

She is Huge!!

In later stages, it becomes very obvious just by looking at them. The lower 1/3 will be the thickest part of their body.

I think we heading that way, I fed them some fish over the past weekend, and she didn't have much, but the none gravid one ate in quantity about 4 times as much haha

And my male checkered garter, also only noticed over the weekend, has an overbite haha so cute!
