    Yeah, they're cool. I prefer ringnecks from southern CA or pacific NW. Very similar but much prettier and while still a challenge, can do very well in captivity. Redbellies just don't make the greatest captives.

    Very true, but with the proper TLC and a "hands off" approach, it can be done.

    I will admit when I kept mine, I also had a large compost box in my basement for keeping slugs available in the winter.

    it's a lot of work, but it is possible to do.
