I tried getting ahold of the cartilage-like material and pulling on it but it just breaks. I still think she's going to be OK. No signs of inflammation, pus or blood. I'll keep working on it. Hopefully this is just something left from her last meal before brumating and perhaps when she starts feeding again, it will pass with a bowel movement. Fingers crossed.

I guess the same old advice applies here: Keep her hydrated. And good luck.

What was that stuff called that is given to reptiles to help them recover? you put a couple of drops on their food. I can't remember what it was called. Can't hurt to give it to all of them. If I can get them to eat. They are all thin, they feel very light. But like I said, they just came out of brumation. My concinnus always came out of brumation and ate after a couple of days, then shed, then bred.

Is it 'Critical care formula'? .. I think you add it to the water.

Can't remember. I'll find out again. The local reptile rescue centers use it and swear by it. I'll ask them.

It does look like she's in the clear now. The lump is gone and her cloaca looks normal. She's a beautiful adult anery concinnus promised to Don. She's very sweet. She's about 28 inches long. I almost don't want to part with her. I haven't forgotten about you Steve. I'll get in touch.

    Here she is:
