Steve, if I ever meet you face-to-face, I'm not shaking your hand until I've seen you wash it.

I never wash. That's why my radixes love me so much and I have no friends.
When people come to the door and I want them to go away. I grab a couple dozen radixes, stuff them in my pocket and go to the door. Before I shake their hand, I shift the pinkies and fuzzies to the other hand. Then at just the right moment I have the kids grab my big girls. They ask the people if they want to hold them. At this point the house clears and we get a good laugh. Life is good!

I released a few males back into the yard a week ago(not easy to do) Last night I went to go out the back door. Before I opened the patio door I saw a radix looking in. It was one of my men that had been released. I opened the door and he came into the dining room. I reached down and picked him up. You may find this hard to believe but he looked relieved. I sat down on the couch and we talked.
My heart sank when he said "Don't you love me? what did I do wrong?" He promised to never poop in the water dish and never steal pinkies out of the food dish when I wasn't looking. I didn't have the heart to tell him I knew nothing about those incidents. His final word did me in, "Daddy, I promise to be good, please let me stay" With those words I fed him 4 pinkies and put him in with his brothers.
I just can't say no to those eyes. I'm a sucker for those radix eyes.

Okay, not all of that story was true..........

The story was good all the same. I can envision him at the door, almost knocking...
The conversation taking place, the peace offering. The happy radix, with a full belly curling up to sleep it off for the night; safe & sound.

    Happy Snake

Steve, By the way, did you free up that duplex for our friend here? I've heard he needs space for the ladies

I'm not allowing any jiggytime at the Ranch right now. I've got too many on the injured reserve list(unrelated to the jiggytime).
