    Re: Spring Cleaning Surprize

While out collecting some fresh breakfast for my newborns I found this little girl buried in the mulch pile.

    Re: Spring Cleaning Surprize

I came home for lunch today and found a beautiful male radix sunning on my deck. I brought him in so my kids could get a look at him before he goes back out. Then, just as I was leaving I went to close the back patio door. In the dining room was another male. I had left the door and screen open and I guess he came in, exploring. Of course, he may just have been moving in. I'll hold on to him also, until the kids get home from school.
I love it. I don't have to go looking anymore. They come to me.

Today, I've caught 3 male radixes. One will stay and the other two are out the door after a check-up.

    Re: Spring Cleaning Surprize

I finally saw my first female of the year. I was out catching a few worms when I spotted this girl by my back deck. She's definitely old enough to breed and from the looks of her cloaca she may have bred today. Since I found 3 males around the same area I think the chances are pretty good I'll be seeing some babies later this summer. Sorry about the picture quality.
