    I love the cork-bark.... but it is rather expensive!

    Looks like you've already had some really good responses. I make use of a lot of old plastic flower pots.

    I also use fake plants and kind of bend the leaves so that it makes a hide. I also have a few of the little caves they make and half logs but honestly...i think my snakes prefer hiding under the substrate more than anything else.

    I've been thinking about making some temp hides out of my old polystyrene backgrounds when the big vivs are done ... also I found these hides on e.bay -
