still haven't had a chance to examine them more closely, but the twitching seems to have stopped. maybe just stress from transportation? i'm hoping!
they are painfully thin, hope they are good eaters.

Just from my own experience, could I suggest that (just for a while) you change their diet and cut out fish completely? It could be, and I stress the word could, be the first signs of thiamin deficiency. It might be nothing or something else completely, but why take the chance?

supposedly they've been eating minnows and the occasional pinky, so i'll probably just stick with the pinky diet anyway, maybe a nightcrawler or two to get them started.

well, i still don't have any pictures, but both girls are doing allright. they're eating like crazy and 1 has already shed, a surprisingly good shed, and the other one's eyes got cloudy, so she'll shed soon. the twitching has completely stopped and both look much more filled out than they did when i got them. there is still some scale rot present and i guess that'll take a while to clear up, but other than that they seem healthy.
